What does the Bible say about Hope?
The Bible is a message of hope that is found in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world giving hope to us all. We are saved by hope, which we do not see. For if it was seen, we wouldn’t have the need to hope for it (Romans 8:24 KJV).
And just like our hope in salvation, in situations of hopelessness and despair, we have the God of hope that fills us with joy and peace in believing, that abounds in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost (Romans 15:13 KJV).
When we have a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen, put our trust in God. Be of good courage and hope in the Lord and his word, and he shall strengthen your heart (Psalms 31:24 KJV). Be joyful in hope and patient in times of tribulation, and faithful in prayer for the will of God (Romans 12:12 KJV).
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is (Jeremiah 17:7 KJV).
What is Hope?
